Like a butterfly’s wings shimmering in the sun,

reflecting the light in a beautiful array of colour.

Love shines on the good and overshadows the bad,

it brings the receiver to life.

It perseveres against all odds,

and protects those who stay within its grasp.

It sees the cracks, the creases,

the faults but, chooses to turn a blind eye.

Love heals the wounded heart,

it turns the dust of our lives into the diamonds of heaven.

Those life experiences, in the sands of time,

love makes into precious jewels for eternity’s view.

Love is a many factored thing.

Human love can be the most beautiful thing or it can harm

but God’s love will always accept, build, heal and endure.

God’s love is more than can be held in this world or the next.

It is free and it gives freedom. His love never fails.

 

During this season of Valentine’s remember those you love, hold them in your hearts and know that Jesus loves you. You are so precious to Him that he died on a cross for you. He now waits at the door of heaven to welcome you to His home and He waits at the door of your heart to make His home in you.
