CBN Europe is part of CBN’s global ministry, with the aim of sharing the Gospel and preparing disciples through media evangelism and humanitarian outreach. Our mission as CBN Europe is to make Jesus known across Europe, Central Asia and Australasia.
A key scripture which is engraved above the main entrance of CBN’s headquarters in Virginia Beach, USA, is from Matthew 24:14:
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
We can’t accomplish this on our own, or in our own strength. Jesus says in Matthew 28:19-20:
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
All that we do is because God loved us first, and sent His one and only Son, Jesus, into this world – not to condemn the world, but to save it. He gave His life so we would gain it – not just for ourselves, but to ‘pass it on’ to others. These verses are also referred to as ‘the great commission’, which is exactly why we do what we do!
